PHASE 1 – Fat Loading (Days 1 & 2)
Start oral (sublingual) HCG drops and begin high fat, high calorie diet. This is an essential step in resetting the body’s fat regulating system.
PHASE 2– Fat Burning (Days 3-43) depending on desired weight loss
Continue HCG drops that are now triggering the body to release stored fat as “food” for the body and supplement with the very low calorie diet (‘VLCD’ – 500 calorie/day diet). The burned fat is providing a constant flow of fuel so you won’t feel hungry as pounds & inches melt away. This Phase can be extended up to 41 days (for a total of 43 days from
start of drops) depending on desired weight loss.
Elimination (the 3 days immediately following your last drops)
Stop HCG drops but continue HCG VLCD for 3 days following the last day of drops. This allows the body to cleanse itself of HCG while still losing weight.
PHASE 3 – Maintenance (Stabilization of new weight, 21 days)
Slowly increase caloric intake during the next three weeks after stopping the VLCD. It is good to stay away from starches & sugars when possible. The body’s fat regulation system is now adjusted and your weight stabilized for permanent weight loss.
SPECIAL NOTES:
If you decide to do another round of HCG drops for further weight loss, wait 2 or more weeks after your last dose of HCG drops before you begin another round of 21 to 99 days.
WOMEN: You cannot begin Phase 1 of the HCG Diet any less that 10 days before your first day of your menstrual cycle. Beginning Phase 1 Fat Loading on the first day after your last day of your cycle is the best time to start.
